1. Who We Are and Data Controller

Data controller (for account and usage data): Logger, [Your company address].
Contact: support@example.com or privacy@example.com.
For log content that you send through the Service: when you use your own database or webhook as the destination, you are the data controller of that log data. We process it only as your processor. When you use our hosted storage (“our bucket”), we act as processor for that log content; you remain responsible for the lawfulness of sending it.

2. What We Collect

Information you give us: Account (email, password hashed, name), profile, destination config. We do not store log content in our control-plane when your destination is your own DB or webhook.

Information we collect automatically: Usage (log counts, API requests), technical data (IP, browser), cookies for session and preferences.

When you use your own storage: We do not store the content of those logs; we only process and forward. We may retain minimal metadata (e.g. count, project id) for billing and operations.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information to: provide and improve the Service; authenticate and secure; bill and enforce limits; communicate (updates, support); comply with law; analyze usage in an aggregated, non-personal way. We do not sell your personal data or use your log content for advertising.

4. Your Rights

You may have the right to access, rectify, erase, port, restrict, object, withdraw consent, and complain to a supervisory authority. Use dashboard “Export my data” or “Delete my account” or contact privacy@example.com. We respond within 30 days.

5. Security and Changes

We use technical and organizational measures (TLS, access controls). We may update this policy; we will post the new version and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
